Poughkeepsie, NY – Losing can be tough. But there are plenty of lessons to be learned from losing. We learn to be humble when we win. We learn how another team feels when we are beating them 18 to 4. What we learn is that what’s important is that we are playing. What’s important is that we are getting better.

The Gladiators played some tough teams in the final two games of the Columbus Day Tournament. They lost the last two games to end the tournament 2-2. A respectable record for their first tournament, specially considering they played against kids 2-3 years older in the last 2 games. They could have opted out of playing on Sunday altogether like all of the other 9u teams, but instead they opted to PLAY BALL.

Congratulations on a great weekend. The Gladiators are back at it again next weekend in the NYEB Thruway Throwdown to be held in Newburgh, NY. Come support them.
